Ceramic frit is a mixture of finely ground glass particles and inorganic pigments. During production, the frit is applied to the surface of the glass using techniques such as screen printing, digital printing, or roller coating. The glass is then tempered or heat-strengthened in a furnace, where the ceramic frit permanently fuses with the glass surface.
The result is a durable pattern that becomes an integral part of the glass rather than a surface coating. Because the frit is baked into the glass at high temperatures, it is highly resistant to fading, scratching, and weathering. This makes ceramic frit pattern glass suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
